Born in the rolling hills of Nashville, TN, John’s early fame as a storyteller was, well, a bit exaggerated. He was a compulsive liar—his grandmother an avid skydiver at 75, his father hiking Everest barefoot. When asked why he lied, his answer was simple:

“It just sounded like a better story.”

But when the truth caught up with him, John took a turn for the better. He honed his craft and now transforms nuggets of truth into captivating content. Though he almost became a ninja-cowboy, he heard the health insurance premiums were a bit steep.

When he’s not copywriting, he’s cooking, eating, listening, watching, yapping, traveling, and doing all the things to make him seem more interesting.
